I've made it back from my recent trip to Ethiopia. Two weeks in Ethiopia without health problems and I end up sick and feverish in Amsterdam of all places. My sense of taste is only now back to normal, but the coffee does indeed taste like coffee now, so everything is fine.
I'd like to thank my father, Robin Wilson, who took over my job at the roaster while I was gone. He had to develop a couple of blends and I think he did a good job with that.
I don't have any Guatemala Antigua to sell. More is on a truck. Expect to see that back on our shelves in a couple weeks.
There is an article in the coffee articles section about my trip complete with photos. I'll probably run an excerpt from that in the next newsletter. Also, keep an eye out for another set of pages with more photos from my trip, including larger versions of the photos (but do not expect to find the 23MB TIFF files my camera produces).
