New coffees arrived today. In the near future we will once again have coffee from Panama and Yemen. Decaffeinated Mexican coffee will also be available, but today I focused on figuring out what we will do with the new Ethiopian coffee. Our selection of African coffees has been somewhat limited lately and I wanted to correct that first.
Ethiopian Yirgacheffe Horse is a washed coffee from the Yirgacheffe region in southern Ethiopia. It is a fine example of traditional Yirgacheffe coffee. Clean and bright with lemon notes that are immediately apparent, but are particularly worthy of note in the aftertaste.
Later this year we will also be getting Ethiopian Harrar Horse, which I hope to sell along side the Yirgacheffe as these should be quite different from each other.
